Test Case (Session)

A Session is simply a user's journey i.e. the path that a user takes to reach a particular goal in their application. Thus a session would be a list of requests that were fired by the application as a result of actions performed on it. Hypertest groups these requests on basis of a user-defined property in the requests themselves. By default, the requests would be differentiated on basis of the IP addresses they originate from.

Test

A test is a collection of one or more "Test cases" i.e. sessions that are executed by Hypertest. By default a test would include all the traffic from the last 72 hours.

Build Report

The "Build report" refers to the results of the analysis generated after running a test.
